Yes, there are easy ways to lose weight. Most of all struggle with out weight daily because we all want to look good and be healthy. Through my experience losing weight I have stayed away from all these so-called diets. Instead, I focused on eating healthy. Here’s what I did.

1. I never said I was on a diet. I made up my mind to eat more healthier.

2. I made a list of all the foods I liked that were good for me. I never put anything in my mouth that doesn’t taste good just because it’s healthy. After making this list, I realized that I like alot of healthy foods.

3. Next, I took my list and tried to eat more of these healthy foods and less not so healthy. Keep in mind, I am not on a diet.

4. Since I love fast food, I limited how much fast food I ate. This way I didn’t have to give up completely.

5. I am a fairly active person but tend to get lazy sometimes, so I decided to exercise at least 3 times a week. I did this for my health and not just to lose weight. We have to realize we need exercise as a way of life. I believe everyone can find some form of exercise they enjoy.

6. After doing the five things above, I have lost 17 pounds and have managed to keep it off which is the hardest part. I do tend to get a little lazy sometimes, but I keep an eye on my weight. I only weigh about once month to keep an eye on it. I fluctuate 2 or 3 pounds which is OK but more than that, I have to recheck what I have been doing.

Eating healthy should be a way of life and not a chore. If you say you are dieting, you are setting yourself up for failure. Once you get started with your own list of healthy foods and do things your way instead of someone else’s, success will follow.
