The question “Gas has mass: the weight of fire”

Depending on the material going through combustion and the environmental conditions or what would be the system of components involved there are some interesting facts. Fire is a dynamic topic but strictly speaking of gas burning from a stove or candle type flame (in open atmosphere) there are effects gravity is responsible for. The teardrop shape is the result of “buoyancy” and “natural convection”. The states of energy radiation from mass do become transparent to gravity i.e. weightless.

Circle of fire:

*Combustion of gas* releases [energy] in variety of ways. Primary ignition starts the [reaction] of *photon emissions* they [radiate] by various *work carrier forces* these carry out energy exchanges between the atoms and molecules enabling their chain reaction. Energy radiates outwardly from the center of the system. Gaining *kinetic energy* the reactants begin to expand changing *density* mass/space ratio (space-time). Here in the initial stage the symmetry balances into the initial *circle of fire*. In that process the *space increases* between atoms and molecules reducing density this results in *less weight* (mass per volume). Then under the affect of buoyancy this charged gas is forced upward until it reaches a state of equilibrium. That is why the bottom of the flame is initially larger.

Rising flame:

The surrounding air is also pushing back because it is under load caused by gravities acceleration (air pressure). Being more condensed than the flame it’s constantly trying to fall so the space controlled by the least mass (the hot gas) becomes buoyant and is driven upward away from the source of combustion. The denser mass (heavier) air surrounding it constricts the flame. As the flame compresses its energy becomes more harmonic condensing and changing colors because only the faster moving unburned particles continue to rise and react with the air.

Microgravity:

When a flame is burning within an atmosphere, absent any gravity it radiates uniformly (much the same as a light bulb) there is no tear drop because there is no vector force (gravity) to cause the effect of buoyancy or natural convection within the system. The combustion becomes uniform as if it was a star and its essence radiates away from it as if it were our sun.

Dealing with atoms and their relationships with space and masses is considered in relativity. This is now considered within spacetime where components of mass in space have relationships with other masses and can even become part of the fabric of space. These force carriers have properties that in the quantum state are not affected by common gravity. This does not violate the laws of physics (no energy is gained or lost) it just opens our minds to some unique phenomenon about our universe.
