I have lost 60 pounds in the last 2 years by increasing the fiber and decreasing the sugar in my diet. I know that doesn’t seem like a huge feat…but I know that because I changed things slowly, I am more likely to stay with my program and keep the weight off. I have also eliminated prepared or boxed meals, canned vegetables and fruits. The only canned products that I have in my cupboard are hard beans and tomato sauce, and I don’t use margarine.

The key to loosing the weight and keeping it off is to slowly make life style changes. I slowly added more fiber and decreased preservatives and sugar.
