I believe deep down we all know how to eat healthy, we just don’t do it. We get into habits that are unhealthy. We tend to buy prepackaged foods that are convenient and salty and full of fat. We who are obese are setting our lives up to maintain our obesity. We say we want to lose weight, but we continually sabotage ourselves. I am speaking primarily of myself. I lost 140 pounds, and have gained 40 of those pounds back.

I have been overweight for most of my adult life and living the life of a “fat” person had finally taken its toll on my image and self esteem. My weight topped the scales at 214 lbs. and a size 18 wardrobe.
