I have lost 60 pounds in the last 2 years by increasing the fiber and decreasing the sugar in my diet. I know that doesn’t seem like a huge feat…but I know that because I changed things slowly, I am more likely to stay with my program and keep the weight off. I have also eliminated prepared or boxed meals, canned vegetables and fruits. The only canned products that I have in my cupboard are hard beans and tomato sauce, and I don’t use margarine.

The key to loosing the weight and keeping it off is to slowly make life style changes. I slowly added more fiber and decreased preservatives and sugar. I didn’t feel like I was depriving myself that way. I have also experimented with different cooking methods in order to maximize the flavor in the foods [ Continue Reading ]

To my knowledge, he doesn’t work out, jog, or go to the gym. He
fidgets. When we visit, I watch him twist and turn, tap his feet
in the air, get up and down from the chair and walk around. It’s
enough to drive you crazy, but his slim [ Continue Reading ]
